point of no return

Today my supervisor officially gave his two weeks notice, but he’ll probably only be here until the end of the month or whenever he finishes the project he has open. Thankfully the boss is looking for someone to take his spot rather than expecting me to try and cover both positions. He even asked if I wanted to take over that position and train some new guy to do what I do… which if I wanted to try a grab at a raise I would have gone for, but I’m plenty stressed as it is so I passed on that offer. At least this means I’ll get to upgrade my monitor setup and probably claim his desk with more workspace, though it’s a pretty big change here at work since most of the questions will be aimed at me now.
