So I’ve got this crazy idea concerning my M-8 droids and the impending LEGO convention this weekend, and the FBTB chat has yielded a few more interesting ideas to bring along:
Nannan-esque Black Fantasy M8 will be going for sure,
and so will the inexplicably RAMM-clad frog and M8…
My invasion of the M8s seems to be rather popular…

The World is Just Awesome.
I’m serious. Why! It’s pretty rare still to find unsweetened tea, even more so with “no lemon” – but still every one I’ve found has citric acid dumped in it “for tartness”. Tartness? Screw tartness! I want tea, tea is not tart, who told you tea should be tart? That person needs to be slapped. If it’s there to keep the tea fresh, then just say so. But please give me one decent bottled tea that is just tea!

Slipping in under the radar today is Portal: Prelude – some random fans project for the past 9 months, an unofficial prequel to the nergasmicaly magical Portal. Trailer:
I’ve got mixed feelings here. Yes, there is the immediate excitement that only glimpses of the Lab can produce, but at the same time the lack of GLaDOS saddens me. GLaDOS was the heart of Portal… however black that heart may have been. Taking her out leaves a gaping void that simply can’t be filled no matter how good the level designs turn out to be. They say it’s an entirely new story, predating GLaDOS, so it will be interesting and as it’s a free mod it’s hard to pass up… but I forsee them getting slammed for it already simply because it’s not the same. Geek nostalgia forms fast.
I figured out how to host images to WordPress, and I thought a bit more visual interest would be good. It’s much better than plain text links, and now I don’t have to worry about the photo badge thing breaking every other day like mine seemed to. More upgrades to follow!
