There you were, in test chamber 17.
Scared.
Trapped.
Alone.
The world was but a distant memory and all hope was lost.
Then, by some miraculous twist of fate, you were reunited with the Weighted Companion Cube. The only friend you could ever need. Helping you up on ledges, holding down giant buttons, and shielding you from the terror of those flying orbs of sparkly death. Life was good. Your worries faded.
But the moment passed as once again GLaDOS intervenes, laying down an ultimatum: it has to be you – or your cube.
Your heart shrinks again. Hours pass, possibly days… it’s so hard to tell in here… and you can no longer stave off the inevitable. You solemnly walk back to the incinerator to complete your hellish task. As your tear streaked companion descends into the flames, you whisper your last goodbye. You swear you will never forget, but you always fear you might. But now worry no more. With this keychain at your side as a constant reminder, a tribute to the greatest sacrifice a friend could ever make, you can finally be at peace.
